Why Are We Nerfing Rek'Sai's Q When...

Xin's Q is exactly the same but does more damage and has a knock up. Like really, Xin is way stronger than Rek'Sai, yet Rek'Sai gets a nerf instead of Xin.

Xin has two sources (knock up and knockback) of crowd control, a huge gapcloser, a Q exactly the same as Rek'Sai's but does more damage AND has a knockup which is guaranteed to land, amazing lifesteal without a lifesteal item, severely tanky, and does a lot of unnecessary damage.

Rek'Sai has one source of crowd control (knockup) that is difficult to land against the current meta because most of them have escapes, a huge gapcloser, a Q exactly the same as Xin's but has less damage and no knockback, crappy lifesteal, no lifesteal unless the items are purchased, severely squishy even if you get tanky itemization, and only does a lot of damage around 30-45 minutes in the game, and if you build damage instead of tankyness you die instantly.

Really, come on. Xin is way better a nerf choice than Rek'Sai. As well, nerf Lee Sin. Way stronger than both of them. Kthxbai.

No, Xin is actually balanced at the moment.

Rek'Sai's damage is just a little bit to much at the moment and she deserves this tone down.

Xin does more damage than Rek'Sai, especially his Q...

You have any statistics? Evidence? Anything to back that up other then just words?

do you?

I've played both champions, that is my statistic. Plus here are the stats: Rek'Sai Q TOTAL DAMAGE: 45 / 105 / 165 / 225 / 285 (+ 120% Bonus AD) Xin'Zhao Q TOTAL BONUS DAMAGE: 45 / 90 / 135 / 180 / 225 (+ 60% AD)

If you add the AD runes and masteries, assuming they're both level 1 with 80 AD, Rek'Sai does 141 damage before armor is calculated, and Xin'Zhao does 173 damage before armor is calculated.

I don't feel like doing the per level ish and stuff so that's my typical, but you can tell Xin'Zhao Q will obviously scale harder too.

Let's say they're both level 18 with 400 AD (Even though it is completely unviable for them both to do so). Rek'Sai Q does 525 damage, Xin'Zhao Q does 685 damage.

Case closed.

Hey cool, thanks for actually pulling numbers. In lieu of Xin's huge single-target damage and knock-up, Rek'Sai gets AoE damage. Fair trade, easily in Xin's favor for laning, and in Rek'Sai's for Jungling.

Makes total sense and it's all fine. I find ranks 3-4 of Rek'Sai's Q to scale a bit too hard, but the rank 5 is fine, and so is everything else on the kit except the 1.0 ap scaling, knew that was going as soon as I saw it, Riot have been steadily weeding those out over the years, and it was odd to see it on a new kit.

Yeah, I'd check the numbers on ranks 2-4 but those are too unbalanced and build reliable, and I can't get an average of those without going into game right now and finding things out, which will take a while. Too lazy atm. So mleh. I just see Xin as overwhelming, and as someone who wants to main Rek'Sai, I do understand that her damage is strong during the 30-45 minute marks, but she's so weak everything before and after that. She is way too squishy and it's quite upsetting to play a champion that's melee and dies in 1 hit (over exaggeration but that's pretty much how it is as her).

EDIT: And she has a non-combat ultimate. That's already a huge disadvantage.

What the hell kind of math is that? Rek'Sai does more damage at all lvls. And there is an aoe.
