As predicted, win after win after win, meaningless next to Riot's trolling.

It only take 1 loss to invalidate 5 wins, doesn't matter how hard you carry, a win earns you 8-10 points, while a loss earns you negative 30 points at minimum.

...and YES the last game prior to demotion, had several people on it that I had played before and were reported as unskilled trolls.

There needs to be an elo reset option once a season in order to keep the system fair. While most of the people in bronze belong there, there are those like me trapped by Riot's inability to stop eloboosters and other trolls.

the system is fine. as long as you have a negative w/l (overall, not in the last 20) you will not gain more LP when winning than than you lose when you are losing. I was placed in bronze 5 as well at the beginning of the season. I am not a good player, but i am slowly climbing

here is the rank guidance rule #1:

You belong where you are at the moment. As soon as you dont belong there, you will climb.

and another good rule to follow: only your own mistakes matter.

My friend dropped from silver 4 to bronze 4 in the provisional. Dropped to bronze 5 for a week, and now is silver 2.

You don't need a elo reset, you will be shifted to where you belong.

If you can't climb, then you are probably where you belong.

They would probably say "Fuck you, piece of shit, go get a winstreak and be a fucking LCS player you disgusting trash."

Too Toxic Didn't Read - Riot caters to LCS players and expects SoloQ players to hit win streaks.
