Degenerate champions

Now I was watching a video by Stonewall008 called degenerate champions. It was actually really interesting to watch. Degenerate means to degrade, decline or deteriorate which is the definition used from a gameplay and balance perspective. For example, flash the summoner spell is degenerate in that it offers so much utility that it has become the very definitive best summoner spell that you can take every game and that not only has it become useful but it has become a sort of necessity as whole to the point where the game itself is balanced around flash. Basically to quote Stonewall "There are some champions that are far better than others that their mere existence makes all other champions in the same role far worse." Basically what he's saying is that some champions possess qualities that make them too good at their role by possessing all rounded values as opposed to specialist picks who may fit certain composition.

Anyways before stating your opinion I encourage that you would watch the video as this youtuber goes into far greater detail offering 5 examples of what champions he believes to have had a degenerating effect on the game.
