Can dodging not be so punishing... Please.

I hate playing a game that I already know I've lost right from champ select. Whether it's people fighting, trolling, arguing over a role, or not having an ADC, I have to dodge to not waste my time. I just had to dodge 2 games because of these same reasons. I have to wait 30 minutes now, and I lost 15 LP.

I don't think both LP loss and wait time should exponentially increase.

If there weren't significant penalties for dodging it would take forever to get a game to start. People would dodge for every little thing.

I do with they would treat it more like other punishments though. Track how often people dodge rather than just reset each day. So you could treat people who dodge once a month and people who dodge every day differently.

I think the LP punishment is nessesary. It stops people from dodging until they get the perfect game in ranked. But the que timeout is way to severe.

I haven't played a single ranked match yet, but the one time I have dodged in regular play the penalty was only a 5 minute wait. Soooooo not sure why it was 30 minutes for you ^.^

Oh but trust me, from someone who almost never dodges, you won't lose as often as you think you will just by judging in champ select!

When people dodge because they can't play their champion they want, when they are facing a hard match up, or when they are just in general trying to escape a hard match, sure that should be punished. But not if you are with a bunch of idiots in champ select where people are fighting, trolling, flaming, or where you have no real ADC compared to the other team. That doesn't become a situation anymore where winning is hard, that becomes a situation where you most likely will NOT win.

Solution: Don't dodge
