Hi Everyone,

Join me and for the month of December every time you die in game make a decent comment to your teammates. I'm looking to change comments from "You Suck" to "It's ok, We can win this guys!" Together we can make a positive change in the game!

Peace! Grant the Ant

P.S. If your looking for more examples of the kind of positive comments i am talking about you can check out my totally amateur stream focussed on being a good teammate!

Sounds like a plan, even though I don't rage at people. Angry whiners just hamper teamwork, imo.

Let's try this, can't be bad...

I'm all for this!

The only way to make the new year wonderful, community-wise, is to roll into it with the positive.

This should be encouraged not just cause it's December but because it makes a more pleasing experience to everyone! This should be a thing we always see no matter what time of the year it is! Good Job giving positive vibes this December though!

I love this idea.

I will start doing this immediately.

I'd also like to see less yelling when someone steals a kill. I'd rather see people congratulate each other over getting the kill, not argue over who should have gotten it.

This is a great idea!

Most importantly you need to support your teammates when they die in battle. Let them know that you care if they fall, and that you will all get through together anyways. If someone dies just say "you where close" or "brave move" or "we can still do this, its okay". Plus as said above if you die dont blame others, let them know your team is still good and even if you are losing remember to be gracious and keep it as good an experience as possible.

Sounds good to me!

Also, screengrabs or it didn't happen ;)

Not only this is friendly but also helps you to win since it makes your team try more harder and give their best.

Ever since I started ranked I realized I get more and more frustrated at normal games, I refuse to become the classic toxic rager! I will do this! Positive influences FTW!!!

And, finally, with the month of December drawing to a close I will strive to keep this mood and habit up throughout the next year. I hope others will be inclined to agree in our effort to be a positive influence and we all can wear the now very-rare green ribbon with pride.

Also as a brief side- note, Merry Christmas and very happy New Year to everyone! Unless of course your on the other side of the Meridian and then it gets all weird and what-not....ah you know what I mean! XD

Or If someone is being toxic just use the mute option. and move on and remeber its just a game, no need to ruin the fun.

Actually, you should be apologizing for your mistake when you die. When a teammate dies, ya, go ahead and say "It's ok, we can win this guys!"

When you die, people inclined to rage want you to acknowledge your stupid play, they don't want the offender to offer assurances that their death isn't a big deal.

When someone else on your team dies, since it wasn't your fault, you're in a better position to remind the team that this mistake made by someone else isn't the end of the world.

Hierodule11/27/2013, 2:22:40 AM1 votes

I try to congratulate my opponents if it was a particularly skillful play, and I try to keep the positivity flowing throughout all the game - I like the concept, though, as a baseline to hold oneself to.

Hoai11/27/2013, 3:30:34 AM1 votes

So, currently, in LoL, when you die, you say, "You Suck" to yourself, it seems your saying?

I just noticed I used too much commas.

I'm going to take part!

Silencerturtle11/27/2013, 9:03:25 PM1 votes

Lets d this,if it is successful the community might be nicer afterwards because we might have a habit saying "It's okay, everyone makes mistake"etc.

jwf99911/28/2013, 2:15:02 PM1 votes

Honestly, I like this and riots support about it, good idea.
