How is this an issue on ADC's more than anyone else ._.
Take a look at Korea, all AD assassin champs and several AD divers are permanently banned because of their ability to abuse lethality. Just last night i played against a noc whom with R-AA-Q could oneshot any squishy target. This combo took him 1,5 seconds to pull off not counting the dash time for his ulti.
There are 2 botlane ADC's using lethality, Jhin and MF. And the reason they are played and no one else is because of how safe they are while still dealing damage. Long range ults and abilities mixed with high movementspeed to run if someone tries to catch them.
And with all those rengar,kha6, talon, zed, nocturne's and talon's running around straight up oneshotting anything with less than 150 armor and 2 k health i see no reason at all to play something that can't survive it because those one or two of those fellows are in every single game i play.
Then we have Quinn. Who does exactly the same thing as those AD assassins but the reason everyone lose their shit is because she is ranged. Well here is a wakeup call, i lost all my shit earlier trying to play any ADC besides Jhin or MF because i died instantly trying to go into AA range. And i am a former plati who got there by playing by playing ADC more than not. I am fairly certain i know how to both kite and position but that doesnt matter much when someone does a Flash-Q-W and you die in 1,7 sec.
I used to play Ashe fairly well and i could even carry at times by good arrows and damage. However Ashe is garbage in this meta because she is really a archetype of sustained damage and get's screwed so hard by any form of burst. Few days ago i was still in the laning phase, i was going to my tower having recalled and suddenly a kha6 jumped out. I died before i could even flash and my support didn't even manage to exhaust in time.
And you people are wondering where all the "traditional" ADC's went? They died.
I used to play Ori and sometimes lux in the midlane as well. Then assassins got night's veil, run past the start of my combo and kill me before i can even land my second or third spell. So now i play Ahri just to permanently stay at max range and run if someone tries go near me.
I have lost track of how many people crying about "Quinn OP" or "jhin & MF OP"
Well fk! The reason they are OP is because they are the only ones that work in this toxic meta of who oneshots first by using lethality the best! Nerfing ADC's is not the damm solution. It's lethality itself and it's items that are way too OP. And no this does not mean i think it's alright that a MF q bounce can deal 40% of a squishes health nor do i think stacking lethality and armor shredd should be a thing since it causes someone with like 300 armor to go down to 80-90 something. However the issue is that every single lethality user is doing it. Not just the ADC's, not just the assassins or divers.
Every. Single .damn .one.
