League of Legends: the Comic Book Series
Well... there are so many games that actually expanded the lore with comics (most of of those aren't always that great tho) and i think LoL just desperatly need that.
Not only it would be awsome, but it's actually so much needed since the lore is in such a confusionary state.
But of course it should be done with intelligence, a fine work, with good artist and writers working on it.
But since there are so many champions and places to show in Runeterra there should be more comics that show us the stories and things happening in different part of the world, and focusing on less characters each one (encountering new ones in the story of course).
All of these comics should be separeted but should also end up in a big crossover event, where the story reach the climax.
I will now make a simple example just to give you the idea: League of Legends: Demacia's downfall (focused on characters from demacia, a new mysterious threat may be at the horizon for the future of Demacia, story focused on that)
League of Legends: Hand of Noxus (focused on noxus characters, Darius and Co. Are sure that they need more srenght to destroy their enemies, they go out to search for an ancient artifact...)
League of Legends: Glacial Wars (focused on the internal strife at Freljord, who will reign over the glacial lands (Ashe, Sejuani etc...), and why they may need to collaborate?)
Those 3 example may end up in another comic, that reveal a new threat that they have to destory all together, giving a sense to all the individual stories.
This was just a simple example to give you the idea on how it could work, remember that these comic would greatly expand our view oon the following things: • Character development • Characters interactions • THE WORLD • The tradition, the stories on each zones in runeterra • New stories development (new future champions in game could be presented here too!) • Characters background
So Riot, if you are listening, i'd like to know what you think about it
