Could we get an "F***, I gotta go button"

A leaver button for real emergencies?

We could get 1 every so many months for those crap, I just got a call, and I have to go to the hospital, cows are out, kid just got hit with a car, cops are arresting my a** situations...

You might be asking how this would be different from "just leaving" Well, it could give 3/4 of a win to the enemy team, and 1/4 of a loss to allied team. (Or) In the off chance your team wins a 4v5 it gives 1.25 wins. However, the leaver would still take a full loss no matter what.

How would this help? Well some times there really is an emergency that you have to go. Leaving 2 games a year is negligible, and we could punish the leavers harder.

Is it abuse-able? For those two games, hell yea it is, but if we punish leaving other than those two games harder, no, no it is not. Not to mention we could make it anyone duo'd with the player also gets a full loss. This would make it so that teams can't abuse it by manipulating losses/wins.

"cows are out"

but on a serious note this is a good idea imo. My job has a hot-line that rotates weekly. Sometimes i'm mid game when i get one, and the client needs help immediately. It's a rare occasion, but still makes me feel like shit for abandoning my team.

considering losses due to afk are rare (i've only had 1 or 2 in the past few months, and they were ragequits) i'd say it isn't needed. A system that allows you to abuse lp loss no matter how long the delay to its use isn't needed, it'll just be abused as a way to cushion the last for your queue partners in a b.s. loss. And if it can only be used say once a month or with an even longer delay that it basically has no effect anyway.

Would this give "loss forgiven" or something during placement games? :o

No way. I do not like this idea.

Once you've started a game, you are the game. There's no way to escape it until you finish.

How about pressing this button invalidates any opportunity of returning to game and activates an AI to play your champion for the remainder of the game. It may take Riot a while though to program in AI for every champion and also build appropriate itemizations for all said champions. Basically it's too much work for Riot to implement and I just wasted everyone's time who read this far.

Only if you leave, then someone on the enemy team has to leave as well. That would be fair to both teams and allow them to continue playing. Either the player that started in your same position has to leave for enemy team (seems most reasonable). However, people would complain if that was their carry regardless of lane/role (and wouldn't complain if it was their lowest producing member - because hypocrites). Everyone would receive the W/L of the game as the remaining 4 players have played it out. Otherwise, you are screwing over your team by "hey, I gotta go" - and yes, it can be abused (and it would be).
