So some guy in my school saw me watching LCS in a computer lab

He was wearing some kind of Arsenal jersey, so he's a, y'know, one of those football fanboys (or soccer, idgaf) you see most of the time.

So anyway, as the title says, after he caught me spectating LCS matches while minding my own business and all, he walked up to me and said:

#"Dude, what's the point of watching that? It's just a computer game"

Seriously, this is literally the whole thing he said to me

So I responded by googling a certain video and showed him this while saying:

After I showed him this, he literally just walked away without a word.

To everyone who has the same attitude as this football fanboy here, or any casuals in League who plays one match and then never touches his account for a month or so, I'm not saying I'm completely against any kind of sports or something, it's just that you should mind your own damn business when it comes to a certain person's interest. Not everyone here has to share the same interest as you do.

There's nothing more insufferable than American Arsenal fans. I'm glad that Spurs will be finishing above them this year.

To be fair I probably wouldn't want to watch LCS but it's obviously popular and I wouldn't want to chide people who like it.

Try telling that to those 10,000+ people in the stadium watching soccer. Why watch when you can just overtake the field & play the game yourself.

Taking into consideration the setting of where your original post took place, you have all the tools to play your game: hard drive, monitor, keyboard, mouse and internet. That soccer kid is in a computer lab. He has neither a net nor a soccer ball. Put him on the soccer field while school is in session and he probably would play it himself.

1: School internet is shit. 2: School computers are shit and the mouse/keyboard are not suited to you. 3: Downloading League takes forever, especially on shit school computers. 4: He might not have been sure he had enough time to play a match. 5: It's fun to watch people at the top of the game. As OP said, there are millions of people who sit and watch soccer/football (depending on region) instead of playing themselves, and any dipshit with a round object can do that.

1: People play on NA server halfway around the world with more ping than you would be experiencing and do well. 2. I play on a laptop and don't even use a mouse. Your argument is invalid. 3. Flash drives. 4. Has this ever stopped people in the past? 5. Real sports are more appealing just because those athletes are super human. Like less than 1% of the population can hit a homerun or dribble a soccer ball while running full speed or throw a football 50+ yards accurately or nail a 3 point bucket shot from beyond half court. Even with years of practice I would never be as good as them. Esports on the other hand... those "pro" players are just people with way too much time on their hands. Anyone can be that good, its just how much time you can devote to the game that makes you good. Any dipshit can point click and press some buttons on a keyboard. I mean you might gain satisfaction from it but it really is just flashing lights on a computer screen.

As someone who plays League almost everyday and also makes videos about League, I love watching LCS. I also played sports in school and still do when enough of my friends are around and we love watching those games as well. There's no reason for him to be like that.

The funniest thing i have seen in soccer is a player pretend to be injured, and another player just comes along, grabs him byy the pants and shirt, and forces him to his feet. He was so pissed off lol.
