@Riot: Add icon descriptions when changing your Summoner Icon so you know where it's from
When you select an icon, display on the right a description of where it was obtained. That's it.

They've basically become collectors items for all intents and purposes, it's gotten to the point where I don't even remember where I've gotten some of them but there is a story behind them. Sometimes I've forgotten that story because all I have is the image to go off of and sometimes I'll have a friend who asks me "Hey where'd ya get that" And I have to search a wiki just to recall where I got an icon. I'd absolute lovely for this tiny touch up to something that doesn't get acknowledged a whole bunch but I'm certain we all enjoy.
