League of Legends Match History

I recommended that top and mid since Malz went top and Irelia mid so that the lanes wouldn't be overmatched, but mid wouldn't consider it. Bot was getting a pounding early so I Counter-Jg and went to gank bot then take drag. Did a second gank since bot was doing horrible again. Created some lane pressure on mid and mid just fed.

Eventually, I was the most ahead of the team and was starting to get a bit upset over the ks, but I didn't say anything. Team dies in a teamfight without me and I come to cleanup, and last second mid takes a flash and ks-Q. At this point I'm getting upset because I am picking up after the mistakes the team is making. But I don't say anything. Enemies try to take second drag and I start a fight down there to stop them. Enemy mid is fed, takes out our team. I come in to kill enemy mid, our mid respawns, and by the team I've dragged the teamfight on awhile and engage a second time because the mid was chasing a kill. Fully secured, our mid takes a third flash-ks. I don't say anything.

Third drag attempt, enemy has started it. We are five and they are five. I go for their jungler to force him to run from the fight and not smite the dragon. Then I turn on the adc and get the kill. Meanwhile our mid chases a kill ( enemy jg ) and I'm left 4v2. I'm trying desperate to zone out the support and take the carry but the enemy mid is hitting me hard. I start attacking the enemy mid and ult her away from the fight and secure her for the kill, but our finally submits the enemy Jg and dash-Q for the ks. I finally head for the carry, and our mid chases the support. The support and carry are both attacking me and the carry is shredding me. Our mid is focusing the wrong person, and I finally kill the enemy carry, with no help from our mid. The enemy support is all that's left and I take an easy two hit from them and die. Our mid takes the final kill and returns to base, full health and shops while the enemy mid respawns and takes our mid turret.

At this point, I'm angry that someone so dumb, who has ks'd so much spent so much time shopping with the money that they didn't even stop the enemy mid from taking our turret. So I call out the ks'ing and the response I receive is so ridiculous, and so outlandish it made me come back here to describe the situation and share it with everyone. I was ridiculed, called an idiot, stupid, told to stfu, that I was less of a player, and that I didn't need to get any kills because my role is to "gank".

If I'm carrying the game, as a Jungle Fighter role, and the only reason we are doing good is because of me, THEN I NEED THE KILLS. Don't give me some bs, feed and then surrender the game! I hate pre-mades, with a passion. I was doing so good, and Bot and Mid kept ks'ing me and I started to not be as influential and then they throw the game away with a surrender. WHO THE FXXX DOES THAT. And the worst part of it all, I couldn't even report the awful treatment I received because the LoL client crash immediately after the game. So those axxholes are still running around ruining people's day for no reason. I log back in and I was reported for verbal. Thanks Riot. I'm apparently the bad guy in this.

Please, Please PLEASE Riot, we need a way to get RID of these people. Allow reporting of people OUTSIDE of playing with them. I want them gone. I struggle to get into a game with the PVP.net DC, and when I do I have to deal with that. How hard is it to add a report button and type in a summoner name? Even if it's just for people I've recently been in contact with only. I just want to weed out these people.

Kill Secured.

Normally kills are best to be given to the highest scaling member of the team because it's only natural, however that is assuming an absolutely perfect scenario.

In practice, as long as you actually scale AND intend to build in a fashion that you scale (you don't get triple kills just to go buy a Sightstone for example), then yes, kill is mostly given to pretty much anybody who does the best atm. Although dumping all team gold onto 1 person has its disadvantages, it's also a very effective strategy until the most fed individual somehow made a stupid mistake and died.

If you're literally solo carrying the entire team as someone who can scale to late games, and you're not being hard countered by some enemy champs, then I wouldn't say asking for kill concentration on you is being unreasonable. However if there is someone else who is doing roughly just as good as you and scales better, then giving the kills to him would be more ideal.

Getting the kills on your carries is important at the highest level of play, where you expect every kill to matter and your opponents to understand every facet of the meta and never make mistakes. They know junglers are typically melee and almost always tanks or brusiers, so they fall off late game; at that point, it's all about scaling.

In solo queue, where you don't know what level of skill your teammates are at besides a border in the loading screen? You do your best and hope it works out.

In my opinion there's a LOT of confusion about whats right and whats wrong when it comes to jungling. I've heard many things like 'A good jungler will always have more assists than kills' or 'A good jungler will always let late get kills'. I dont understand the whole point of this. I think that anyone who's jungling has major disadvantages.

  1. Less XP/sec
  2. Less CS/sec early game
  3. Loses even more XP and gold on ganks if ganks fail
  4. Totally dependent on the laner to help make ganks worth by engaging/pinging/pointing wards etc
  5. Has to spend a decent bit of money buying wards for the jungle.
  6. Always gets blamed for loss because he didnt 'gank enough' (I've seen this in Bronze/Silver Elo)
  7. Has waaaaaaaaaaaaay more stuff to do than simply facing an opponent and killing him off aka. Drag/Baron, Split Push, Timer management, Counter Ganking.

I mean I've checked a lot of guides by plat players and everyone tells me 'If you gank and if you burn a flash the gank is worth. And when you do gank you're allowed to kill 2-3 minions as tax to compensate for XP loss'. When I performed that action i was called an idiot.. I mean i dont understand... its not like i farm your lane all day! And i let you have my buffs! Same with kills. If a jungler gets a kill OMG all hell breaks loose! And suddenly at lvl 6 they'll just stroll in and take your buff whether or not you need them or not like they own the buff. Or the adc will stroll in, leave his lane and start clearing your entire jungle camp because 'he needs to farm'. And what you think i have a gold creating machine in my pocket! :/

Guys please understand. A jungler is providing a service. He's not in your top lane so you dont share XP/CS and hence are better fed and with more gold than a duo top lane. He's ganking all lanes to feed you so you can carry. He's passing his buffs to you when he can so you can have an advantage in lane. Neither of these are things he HAS to do. So respect and honor your jungler. Give him some kills. Maybe one or two minions. Be nice to him. And thank him for helping the team. If you cant do that, then stop playing with a jungler and go duo-top!

It's not that I disagree with your sentiments, but...

In my opinion, get rid of the jungle. Lots of problems could be solved if ganks became a luxury rather than a necessity. If mid is doing great and can roam a bit? Wonderful! If bot's doing well and the support can go mid to try and help secure a kill? Great! But having a dedicated jungler confuses everyone. Some people expect the jungler to gank all the time, others tell him to farm when he tries, and then there's the confusion as to who "deserves" a kill.

The fact that there's a meta is ridiculous. This is why I prefer Heroes of the Storm these days, and I STRONGLY hope it never develops a meta. Games are so much more fun when people play characters instead of roles.

How much I try to get a kill when ganking depends on my champ and role and performance of my teammates. If I am going as a fighter, and I am down gold and exp because i am a jungler ganking lanes and not getting the kills, then I will try harder to secure it for myself. If I am tanky and my adc is going into a gank and helping and doing well then I will try to move off and let that adc get it. But if my lanes are doing crappy and can't play right and I need to be able to kill stuff myself, then I am surely going to go for it. Especially considering the nature of the jg now. As any lane or jg champ If I am kicking butt then I will try to share the wealth when I feel I am not letting someone escape. People seem to think that them going 20/4/2 zed is great. Until zed drops first in a team fight and the rest of the team with 1/2/5 has to fight missing all the kill gold zed had. Sharing the wealth is good for the individual too, because getting wrecked as the focus of a 5 man group non-stop sucks.

If I am the jungler and my mid or my adc get the kill, I would think: Yes, my job has been done. My team is a little more fed than it was before. ^^ I don't absolutely want kills as a jungler but hey, sometime it happens.

And anyway, to get my team very fed, as a jungler, I need to kept thinking about dragon and later on Baron.

Yes, It can frustrating to be ks all the time but ... It's for the good of the team. So, I will let it go.

It's a tough life out there in the jungle!
