I heard someone tell me he was an AD caster, and I think the attack speed would not really benefit him. There is the armor pen. but a full W AA Q AA E will proc six stacks of .

I never understood why people wasted Q early like that, you're better off using E after the stun to stack the shred faster. W AA E AA Q, since the Q has bonus damage (crit) on low health opponents, you want the Q to hit when they're low AND have their def shredded. plus since it's ranged and targeted it's better for sniping fleeing opponents as opposed to E where you're stationary

Well, the Q resets autos, and even if the stun is over, considering if they're right in front of you, the three ticks will proc before they can escape.

25% of a squishy target's armor is less than 20 in most cases. Not to mention it gives more AD (by 10 I think?) and the active movement speed is great.

Cleaver is also a great item on Pantheon, Ghostblade is just a great early item, as for a squishy target to have 100 armor, they would have to have their hourglass and be almost level 18.

It all depends on what you need atm. :)

NP. I havent played a lot of Pantheon recently, but will probably pick him up again with the new assassin item.

Armor Pen is very strong right now, and you can get it from the new dagger (+10) Ghostblade (+20) and Maw(+10). If you run full armor pen in your runes, those items alone plus runes adds up to 59 flat armor pen. Add in the flat armor pen from the cunning tree and you can see how quickly it adds up.

If you are going to run a non-tanky Pantheon, I wouldn't get cleaver and just go for those items. Plenty of AD, some free extra burst from the new Dagger item, lots of Armor pen, and a little mit of MR to boot. Follow that with you boots and Sterak's and you will be surprisingly hard to burst. Get a last whisper item if you have to kill lots of tanks.

black cleaver also offers hp, the phage passive, AND 20% cdr.
