Confused about being reported

I bought the Pool Party Skin today and was having a great time, I beat up a (he was 1/10 by the end of the game) after I think the 7th kill I told him to "Get set to get wet" as a joke, and he responded with "Wow you must not have a lot of friends IRL Lulu." I figured it was a joke since it was a normal and NO one gets angry in Normals, and said "Let me have a pool party in your tears". The game ended and I got reported for Offensive Language. I don't understand. What did I say that was that was offensive.

The system is retarded. Riot really needs to get rid of reports unless they are for afk'ers or purpose feeders.

Verbal abuse is the most retarded thing ever. Maybe if it got real personal where you are talking about someones life or their family or something around those lines. But for shit like "you suck", i think thats retarded and pathetic. A lot of people arent' even really offended they just report cause they lost. That is flawed as hell.

For 4 years i played this and did like minor verbal arguments with people. Never got banned or suspended. Ever since this new system is back Ive been suspended twice for literally, nothing... Riot seriously needs to re-consider the tribunal or remove it completely.

The report system does not work that way, it requires you to be consistently reported from past games as well. Usually from multiple people.

You are either a liar or have been reported for similar things in previous games.

Also keep in mind you were technically trash talking which is frowned upon in the summoners code.
