Ranked: Choking in Egotistical, self-important crybabies stuck in thier "im the best" world
Seriously I really cant stand it anymore. I try my best to support. But Its hard to support anyone when the team is so incredibly full of themselves. All they care about is how many kills -they- got.
As I said in other boards. If League is like a chess game, all the pieces are more than willing to give up the checkmate just so THEY can brag about capturing the most enemy pieces. There is no room to work together, Not with people who will run away from a heal with 5% health left to go after a "double kill" because they think they are OP, then turn around and blame/report the support because support wasnt able to heal them from across the map. Players have become too arrogant, to self-important. The concept of a team game is Lost on people. I was playing a game where I was support sona, accidentally took a kill wearing down an enemy for adc. Adc spends the whole game wanting to report me for KS. But then turns around and Steals a Kill from top (Garen) Garen asks why and Adc (sivir) says "Its ok, I am adc, I am allowed to killsteal from anyone" So...Its ok if she KS from anyone on her team, but support accidentally does a bit too much damage and gets a kill and she flies off the handle, abandons lane and calls for reports while trashing me. This was a game that we could have easily won. But we lost it because sivir had a fit, angry that she didnt have the most kills on the team.
See, No one cares about playing as a team anymore. I could have 1 good game and get 20LP, but then lose 3x that much in the next few matches because people would rather make sure they have the most kills rather than focus on the win. That way they can brag about how good -they- were compared to thier trash/noob/scrub teammates. "OMG I had to carry this trash team, hahah I am so op!"
So please, If you want to win, How about deflating that ego of yours first. Because if I hear you talking down to your team just to prop yourself up about how great you are and how trash your team is. I am just gonna stop trying. I really dont want to help contribute a win to further inflate an already over-inflated ego. You want to have the most kills? You want to call for a "1v1 me bruh" in the middle of a match while your team is busy trying to defend base? You want to call KS on everyone else (especially during a teamfight) and then throw a raging tantrum because you dont have the most kills?
Then please GET OFF A TEAM BASED GAME Go play Call of duty or something where you can beat your chest and talk about how great YOU are. Untill then, I will treat ranked like it is...A joke! Filled with crybabies who have a fit when they dont get thier way, and People who are completely absorbed in thier own ego that they are assured of thier own personal superiority. I am tired of people in Gold/Platinum/challenger making a new account. Then they come on to ranked in bronze...and berate and degrade thier teammates (who may still be starting out) for not playing at a gold/platinum level. They will find a mistake, shine a spotlight on it and just PICK AWAY at that one mistake the entire game. Insulting and degrading your team over mistakes is not gonna help, all it does is stress them out. This in turn causes them to make more needless mistakes, which gives these egotistical types more mistakes to pick away at...which stresses more and sends people on tilt. They act like they are SO perfect. They never had a bad game, they never made a mistake, they never fed. Nope nop nope.
I have been trying to hold it in but its getting rediculous. People come onto a team game with an "all about me" attitude. If the game doesnt serve to inflate -thier- ego, they throw and rage and abuse thier team. All because they dont have the most kills, or thier team isnt playing how or as good as that -player- wants them to play. (not building how the player wants, not playing how the player wants, not going where the player wants). And when things dont go thier way, they go to old macdonald's farm and BUY A SCAPEGOAT (we lost because "insert name" Report for unskilled/trolling" (usually the person who is doing well, but not as good as the one calling for the report WANTS him to play)
Riot needs to do SOMETHING about this atmosphere of egotistical and self important behavior, this idea that "who cares about the team, its all about how many kills -I- have, how good -I- look in comparison to my team
I appologies for the length But I have alot of these sorts of observations. And I know I am gonna be flamed and trolled, People will say my opinions mean nothing because...Rank, champion, phase of the moon? anything to invalidate any reasonable point i Have (Your opinion means nothing because....Bronze 5) that sort of thing.
