##Banned Champions

Caitlyn - Her damage early on is too high while being too safe on howling abyss. Quinn - Invalidates Melee Champions outside of a few Kindred - Her sustain is too much for being a ranged champion. Malzahar - Not much interaction and once he hits 6 he’ll probably oppress you(literally) Nunu - His sustain off minions, and damage makes him an unfair pick. Heimerdinger - Too oppressive to many champions

##Dates

Sign Ups - CLOSED Day 1 - 17th (9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific) | First half of Qualifiers - 8 games Day 2 - 18th (9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific) | Second half of Qualifiers - 8 games Day 3 - 24th (9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific) | Quarterfinals - 8 games Day 4 - 25th (9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific) | Semifinals, Finals, and Bonus Round - 9~11 games

##Tournament Information

  • All games will be blind pick. Finals will be a Bo3 first 2 games being draft; game 3 will be blind pick. There will be 32 spots available. First to sign up will take up the spots.
  • The matches will take place on Howling Abyss.
  • There will be 20spots reserved for people with FEK avatars.

##How to Sign Up

  • Before signing up. Read the RULES
  • Post in this thread saying you want to sign up.
  • The account you post on: Must be the account you'll play on.
  • After signing up, you'll be added by me.

##Spot Steal

People will be able to steal a no shows spot(Only the first 2 days) by joining a chatroom, and when a no show happens. They’ll be randomly selected to take the spot from the chatroom. More info will be in the Info thread that'll be up on June 13th, Monday.

##Bracket

There will be a higher half, and lower half bracket. You'll be placed on the Bracket based off of your ranking.

##Rewards Bonus Round winner: 500 Fish Chips, Temp FEK Border 1st Place, $5 RP Final winners: 400 Fish Chips, Temp FEK Border 1st Place, $5 RP Semifinals winners: 300 Fish Chips, Temp FEK Border 2nd Place Semifinals: 300 Fish Chips Quarterfinals: 200 Fish Chips For Participating: 100 Fish Chips

But it would be the first ranked player against the last ranked player, right? I feel like a player in my position would feel disadvantaged for being above the cusp of lower and upper, since first round I would have to face a diamond. It will also make the finals (Lower number 1 vs. Upper number 1) not any competition whatsoever.

Each bracket has their own finals. Then after that is a bonus round of the winner of the higher and lower bracket. Winning the bonus round does not reward much more.

Right now round 1 you'll be vs'ing SubIimationz which is a Gold 1. Also, Rank means a lot less in a 1v1. So I think a Gold 3 vs a Gold 1 is pretty even imo.

They may not respond to you and you just have to check the list given in the thread that leads to the google spreadsheet.

well, that's really unfortunate, I would've posted a day or two before then when laughup told me to sign up but I thought I had time so I waited until I could make sure I had the tournament days available :/ I was really looking forward to it too after the fun I had in the nemesis tournament.

Yea okay no thanks. There's a reason 1v1 rules are "first to 100 cs, turret taken, or first blood."

If you can't kill them you outfarm them.
