I only got him from the Slayer Bundle... Though making people tilt with Nunu Bot's Laugh... Very tempting. Might make jungling enjoyable for me. I just hate when my opponent just ridiculously out classes me in their jungling knowledge that I get curb stomped.

I don't understand the fascination with Hextech Annie if one does not play Annie or care about her skins at all. Why did Redmercy spent 500 dollars for 340 chests in hopes of getting Hextech Annie, when he doesn't even care about her or play her?

What's so special about this skin? The shard itself is worth 1350 RP (so that you can disenchant it) and shards are not tradeable. You either have to get incredibly lucky, have all the skins or just collect 10 gems, which is 10 chests and keys wasted?

The same reason people scramble for collector's stuff, because it's so rare/hard to get it's much more valuable.

That's my thought on it as well but considering that this skin can only be yours (if you get it) what's the point? If you have this skin but don't play Annie and you keep telling random people that you have it but always play something else but Annie, it kind of defeats the purpose of having exclusive content but never using it.

The same situation would be that you have trillion dollars but you live in a dump on your own terms and keep telling people that you're rich beyond imagination. I get it that it's a matter of prestige but i don't see the point.

That's fine too. As long as you use the skin in some way, it's worth it but not if you're a Zed main who spent 500 bucks for this skin and then never touching Annie again.

I was wondering the same thing and the conclusion I came up with is they just want it because the annie players want it...I've noticed plenty of people that wouldn't even acknowledge annie til this skin came out but they spent all kinds of money to get it...shit I actually play her and have quite a few of her skins shes the first champ I actually wanted to learn and got pretty good with

Which is only equal to three random skins. Or worse yet, only equal to one skin and one champion. Or worse yet, only equal to Nunu and Sherwood Ashe.

It's a value question, but I think most people would and do consider a skin of Hextech Annie's level, with all new effects, to be a better prize than the alternatives.

At this point, I'd probably just donate my 1 to you for the sake of at least seeing someone get that ridiculous skin. Got one a few weeks back, never seen another. And to think I even came across 2 legendary skins in the boxes already up to this point. What's the drop rate anyway?

Yeah I got a few legendaries and an ultimate from chests... but the drop rate of the gems is way low, since they are trying to make it exclusive and not that easy of getting. Still makes me sad when I've gotten the chance of getting so close :(

I've got 3 gems so far, I turned them into chests because it will take me years to get Hextech Annie and even then it's just a skin and I don't play Annie :P
