Riot doesn't want sanbox mode and here's why:
it's the greatest idea (for us player who want to improve) and the (worst idea to riot)
the pro's want that to practice,some want it test some stuff. it be great to find out bugs. but also bad for their marketing business. Riot Udyr was the first one to admit that it be nice to have that mode : http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=2017963&page=1
riot took that idea and created: U.R.F , One For All and many other stuff, which was great.
if everyone become good,decent at the game then what will become of LCS they need a noob audience to watch the pro play this is how it work
a good majority will become good near pro at the game and LCS wil become meaningless to our eyes. that a big $ down for riot, and that's what they don't want they don't want people to turn down their eye on their precious LCS
if they create sandbox mode than everything they made will become obsolete that's why they can't allow to give you everything, it's like someone dependant on drug if you give him too much he will overdose, so they use events like u.r.f , one for all,1v1 mid. if they did then the population of player will massively grow a lot will come back to play and then will bored to the point they never come back literally a crash. some might still play but it bring a lot of attention as before since the major event happened.
they could have probably made twisted treeline and dominion better but if they did then their major event would split in 3 and that would be difficult for them to manage. magma chamber would have been a great 6v6 10v10 game mode but hey they probably going to use it as an emergency button and i think that will be the same with sandbox mode if not the last thing they'll do. replay option will help you improve and learn on your mistake you'll get better at the game and they don't want that , that's why they removed the line between pro and regular player: so that new player never get to know how it really feel to be good at the game. "go watch some LCS" that's what they want $. they don't care about how good you do at the game they don't care how much you spend at the game.
and if everyone learned how to ward and watch the minimap engage and group and learned on their mistake then bronze silver gold plat diamond turn shift and we'll need more than 6 bans which we actually do and we can dealt without for now , then they'll need to rebalance everything and that be a lot of work they don't like that.
you have freedom but not too much having these game mode would be hype so hype that returning into normal game mode will feel boring, same way drugs work, that why they moderate how much fun you can have. it's obvious isn't it?
most of their game mode lack diversity and is boring to play it lack interaction that's never a good thing.
riot lack diversity take a look at what they're doing with new champions: garen doing %hp with his AA,E on the villain, darius Q healing for X % hp,leesin doing %hp dmg with his ultimate , lissandra healing for X % of hp loss , fiora doing X %health true damage. EVERYONE IS GETTTING %HP!!!
they can't have sandbox mode happening without (MODERATION) because then they will have to find better game modes everybody know riot lack diversity they could have just pay more attention to the forum! theirs tons and tons of idea there eating dust!!! but no that be too much work they don't even listen to good constructive feedback they suck at creating game mode : dominion is boring and magma chamber never became a thing.
if sandbox existed than everyone would be playing leesin,vayne,ap ezreal,yasuo etc. and then they'd be nerfing skillcapped champion. then that champion will become weaker than ez noob champ and nobody will play them because why would i play a skillcap mechanic champion if i get rekt by ez noob champion than they be going into the drawing board to turn into a even more difficult skill capped champion anyways this is getting ridiculous i'm out!
saying we can't have X due to toxicity in an argument is as good as saying this game is toxic because it is , it's pvp it's war we're fighting each other and it's human nature to do war and be toxic. aka your argument is invalid riot. people use it to bring attention and forever will.
