We had to sit down and talk about this one a bit when it come up during internal testing. Eventual conclusion was that the blobs becoming immune, but still moving, was the appropriate outcome, since it helped to communicate that Zac would still respawn after a fixed time period.

Here's an interesting fact: if Bard's ultimate work like Zhonya in fact it's very similar to it, then how come it doesn't work on everyone? (morgana spellshield,olaf ultimate,poppy ult on the opposite team). if these champions pop zhonya during their anti-crowd-control zhonya will work then why bard ultimate isn't working when faced against? If his ultimate give a free zhonya in some sort to anybody would it be safe to say that it should work on anyone no matter what are their status condition?

There's a difference between using your own activated item, and being hit by a spell from another character.

It's supposed to look and feel a lot like Zhonya's, sure - but it's not supposed to be exactly the same.

It is intentional, his passive states that after 8 seconds he is revived, and I'm pretty sure stasis doesn't affect those types of things

If someone teleports to one of Zac's blobs, the blob doesn't move and he has to wait for it to get to it's body

The only problem is the mana cost and the fact that you instantly lose the game because you have Bard and Zac on your team

Zac's passive I believe is coded based on how long the blobs are left alive, rather than whether the blobs meet up in the center.

This is why if you summoner 12 to Zac blob, he will revive, even though you froze the blobs position.

Its intentional, I believe they stated this somewhere before using Sion's passive as an example. He won't be able to move, but his health still slowly drains.

Passive effects will still complete, but you character is rendered in a stasis.

Think Fiddlesticks using his ult and then using item 3157 's active. Its kind of the same situation.

Anivia's Egg does it, Zac's passive, Mundo's R, Swain's R, Fiddle's R, etc. all work with it much like they would if you could Zhonya's during these things. Anivia and Zac are incapable of using said item during their revive, so it's an interesting little thing to be added in.

Yeah, the movement is just a visual. It is actually a timer, where the blob land dont matter.

Not really. I've had a syndra grab one of Zac's blobs and toss it over the wall into the jungle. He couldn't reform until it was destroyed because of it.

If teammate Bard ults while Fiora ults, it saves the enemy team and Fiora ult does no damage.

The only good bard combo I have seen was when an enemy came through one of his portals and I promptly Chogath ate them. I'm sure there are plenty more.

they keep moving they're golden and invulnerable so it's cool. the unaffected blobs does not wait in the middle you revert into your original form until the end of the duration, if I remember correctly.

Learned this one the other day. A Bard cannot ult an allied Olaf while he is ulting. My Olaf was about to get the pop from a Zed ult. I ulted him. He was immune and ended up dying.
