anyone else have a friend in Elo denial?

I have a friend who is in Elo denial, literally everyone he meets irl that plays league, he straight up lies about being plat, when he has always struggled to get out of bronze without being carried (which Idc I mean I'm s4 I'm not much better). I used to think he was joking when he would say he made it to plat one season (he's never heard of op.gg I guess XD) I don't play with him much anymore but anytime we speak he always has to comment how if he actually spammed ranked enough he would be plat.... but it's like my dude I've played with you, you're garbage just like me.....

Another of my favorites he says he played on the eu server and made gold in under a week, and the eu are just elitist trash cans blah blah blah. To which I'm like oh really that's interesting because you play with 100 ms here in Midwest US, but you have decent ping on eu.....huh strange

Anyhow, does anyone else have friend or know someone in real life who is in Elo denial (or just flat out lies).
