Elo Climbing - Choosing A Main - Midlane - Need Help

Alright, so I have this strategy where I ward the enemy's red/blue (depending on where they start) and kill them level 2 when they try to take it. I am a very good Orianna, but I feel she doesn't have the movement or kill potential to take it level two. I also like Jayce, but he gets a tad boring sometimes. I just tried Kha'zix, and it worked exceptionally well, but I can't fight a lot of midlaners. Who else has good movement and kill potential, or who should I use out of these three, or if I could get some feedback on what to do as these champions for this strategy, it'd all help. Thanks =^~^=
