Elo Climbing - Choosing A Main - Midlane - Need Help

Alright, so I have this strategy where I ward the enemy's red/blue (depending on where they start) and kill them level 2 when they try to take it. I am a very good Orianna, but I feel she doesn't have the movement or kill potential to take it level two. I also like Jayce, but he gets a tad boring sometimes. I just tried Kha'zix, and it worked exceptionally well, but I can't fight a lot of midlaners. Who else has good movement and kill potential, or who should I use out of these three, or if I could get some feedback on what to do as these champions for this strategy, it'd all help. Thanks =^~^=

LeBlanc has what you want in strong early mobility and kill potential, but requires to be super close to your enemy to do anything later, which is very bad without a well coordinated team. Ori could work also, and although i don't play him a lot, zed might work as well.
Do note that im still in bronze and take everything i say with a grain of salt

LeBlanc is generally a bad pick nowadays as people are gearing for more late game compositions, games lasting 30-45 minutes this season. LeBlanc also is beat by most midlaners now as all she has is damage to provide, with minimum (and decently difficult to land vs ranged champions) crowd control. Her silence was the only reason she was good, but now it's patched away.

Ori has a low mana pool and her mobility is slacking early game, as if she uses her W she uses the little mana she has. I do keep in mind that I will be receiving blue buff by killing the enemy jungler, but it's a risky pick with this strategy. If I don't get a flash or first blood, I've lost a good amount of cs for no reason, and won't be able to farm as well due to a lack of mana. Also, if the midlaner comes to help, Ori doesn't have what it takes to duel most mids early game.

Lastly, Zed is an amazing pick for this strategy, but Katarina and Fizz are huge champions currently, and if they don't get banned Zed is screwed in midlane. Other than that, he will do perfectly. Thanks :)
