PSA Do not defend someone for being toxic

Doesn't matter if its your best friend, significant other, or even your little old grandma there is no excuses for someone being toxic in game by any means. I don't care if you and a friend are troll flaming eachother, that doesn't excuse u from flaming other people caught in the crossfire. I just had a game in One for all where a guy said " can we pick Riven" being not very confident and not wanting too play Riven I banned her instead. Sure it sounds like a dick move right but than the guy just flamed the hell out of me in champ select lobby calling me terms such as "asshole" and "%%%%" and we haven't even gotten into the game. Once we gotten into game he practically flamed the living hell out of me and other people of my team even the enemy team.

Yes I know there is a option to mute him but that doesn't stop him from flaming all together only with a report at end game lobby can even do that if he flames constantly in many games. I only ever gotten the message once that showed a person I reported has been punished. There was a guy trying to vouch for him saying its just a joke and stuff and that I don't get the satire. Read my words very carefully, THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR FLAMING BY ANY MEANS EVEN IF YOU WERE JOKING HOW AM I TO KNOW THIS WHEN YOU KEEP CALLING ME SUCH THINGS? I don't care what problems people have outside of the rift that doesn't give you the excuse to be a jerk online and ruin the fun for other people.

Sorry for the big wall of text and rant here but this is driving me crazy that people just defend others for being toxic. I know that the people at Riot work as much as they can to solve issues like this and I hugely appreciate it. I just wish there was a quicker way of punishing these people because it feels like it takes forever for it too happen.
