Seriously, I can't tell you how many times I have encountered this type of situation, where it would always be 20-30 minutes into the game, and then one of my teammates(mostly the carries) would say "sorry guys i gtg. Got class", and then just leaves as if it was nothing. And before you know it, they think that the reports & the suspension/bans were unnecessary because "it's not my fault that I have things to do today!"

Tell you what? You deserve to be reported & getting suspensions/bans when you do not take your schedule timing seriously.

Yeah, hey, guys. Unexpected stuff happens. We get that. Maybe there's a fire in your building. Maybe your kid fell backwards down a flight of stairs and you need to rush him to the hospital. Maybe your boss called unexpectedly, telling you need to be at work right now. These things are rare, but they happen. If they do, and you need to go, we understand.

But that's not what this thread is about.

This thread is about those people who know full well they have less than an hour to finish a match, and yet they queue anyway. That's selfish and unfair to your team. Don't do that.

I have to agree, my younger brother will start a LoL match and I'll just look at him and ask when he has to leave for a meeting. "30 minutes." 'You're gonna queue, ban, select, load, and win- in 30 minutes?' "Yeah, what's wrong with that?" 'Oh nothing, have fun.' I know full and well he's not going to accomplish that, but I'll let him be reported, not my problem.

The only time I've ever had anything like that happen to me was a fire alarm that went off in the apartment of the girl I was visiting, that came out of the left field, typed in all-chat, "So there's a fire alarm going off, I'm leaving." and disconnected before exiting the building. Turns out it was a drill.

I always try to make the time to finish games.. but sometimes shit just pops up. Real life > game. Why should I get banned because something unexpected came up? I don't really think everyone who actually has a valid excuse to leave deserves a ban/suspension, only the people who leave and don't have shit to do deserves the bans. Like the people who say g2g eat, and "mom wants me off the computer bye" or just straight up leaves because hes losing. Shit like that.
