I gave up on ranked months ago when summer started and games were more likely than not to have a rager... haven't gone back yet as I don't know what the victorious skin will be... once I know what it is I'll decide if I care enough to try for Gold this season.
This time in the season, it's not uncommon to see people get to Gold V and afk for the rest of the season. I'm doing the same thing in Plat V, save for the occasional game to avoid decay, so I can keep it until preseason starts and I can work on moving up again.
