When is it ok to sell you boots?
I was playing with my plat friend and I was 
with a full build and he told me to sell my boots. I was like why and he said because the zepher ( how ever you spell that) is better.

the % movement speed from zypher is sometimes the same as the flat+ movement speed, i some times sell it when it equals near or the same. However with the new changes and getting the homeguards at 20, idk if you still get it without boots..
if im fed i sell it, if im even or less i dont. thats my rules.
Zephyr was removed from the game. Don't sell your boots lol
In the lategame, there are other options for 'gotta go fast'; Luden's, Statikk, Rapid Firecannon, and Trinity Force all give some movement speed; if you have one or more of these items, the speed you get from them can let you keep up with the movements of your allies and enemies even without boots, so you can use the extra slot to grab more combat stats.
When you're fed at the end of the game, and the bonus stats are worth more to a teamfight than movement speed will be.
My prime example is when I'm playing 
At some point I may not need my boots any longer and the extra damage from another item will make or break a fight because the game is so close and I'm talking like 50 minutes into the game where everyone is already full build.
