I played a couple of Kassadin top lane games, and gotten pretty good scores with him, some with suchs like 5/0 & 7/2, I think, just roughly round there. I don't get why a simple ult range nerf would scare the bejesus out of everyone.

IcyPepper1 votesI think it's more due to the number, not intensity, of her nerfs. If they just flat out gutted her stats to fair levels instead of taking their time doing it, people would have qq'd but get over it quicker. That one patch where they just bumped down her movement speed (despite her hard counters already having that edge) pissed Sona players off because it came off as petty after the other nerfs. If they had done it all at once, even with the MS nerf, less people would have cared.
At least that's what I think.
