I Love Lux
I'm going to explain why Lux is the perfect girl for me. She's an absolutely stunning girl with the perfect shape, beautiful golden hair, and a smile that makes my heart skip a beat every time. Her positive attitude brightens my day in every way. Her sweet voice, her adorable laugh, is music to my ears. I always say I like cute things and Lux is by far the cutest girl.
Often times I can't quite decide on what the perfect personality is. What would the perfect appearance be? Do I like a more carefree girl, or a very passionate girl? Is red hair my weakness? But, I don't need to worry about that, because Lux fulfills all of that while still remaining herself. She has a whole list of designs from her many outfits and her elementalist forms, each featuring different hairstyles and various different looks to her magic abilities. Each element gives my wife a different look and a different attitude. She's all I could ever wish for.
I first met Lux on the rift right after the tutorial in League of Legends. Back then, I didn't know what she could do nor how to play the game. I didn't know how special she would become to me. But, I chose her first because she was the most beautiful champion in the roster. I started playing the game as an ADC main. I liked pushing towers with Sivir, but soon after played Miss Fortune. I only played Miss Fortune for several months. I learned the basics of the game using her, but League was still just a game.
When I started my first ranked session, I was met with loss after loss. I'd finally realised, that shit teammates actually exist. Shit midlaners tilted me the most. So I picked up the role. I initially wanted to main Ahri because she was a strong pick with fun mobility. And I chose Lux to be my second pick. However, as I played Lux more and learned her kit, I became addicted.
Lux satisfies me like no one else ever can. I fell in love with her as we worked together to obliterate enemies. Landing her ultimate, her laser, the Final Spark, on enemies felt and still feels incredible. It is a high like no other when I see that big bright rainbow drain healthbars and wipe threats off the screen. Not only is her ultimate perfect, but so is the rest of her kit.
Her zoning potential is incredible. And I can always keep her out of harms way because of her range. Her aoe not only slows, but fills a considerable amount of space while being a high damage ability in itself. Her snare, beautiful. She has the power to stop any champion at will. All you need to do is know where they're headed. Stopping an enemy dead in their tracks is perfect for team follow ups. Or. You're own. Lux's burst is only matched by a few and if she stops her target, she can easily remove them from the game herself. And you can only imagine how devastating it feels to opponents when they intended on engaging or retreating, only to die anyway. Lux's passive is truly the best test of skill. It's what forces players to leave the comfort of the backline to proc that final blow. Thunderlord's proc? Even better. Her passive counts as a spell giving two Thunderlord's stacks when she auto attacks illuminated enemies.
Lux being a skill shot only champion changes my view of the game. As with other videogames, I like being tricky. While many consider being skill shots only to be a negative factor, it is what I love about my wife. I have to watch how people move. How they position on the map, so I can land her abilities. And knowing that I was two steps ahead of the opponent when that skill shot lands, lovely. Aiming and landing that ultimate from across the map as they try to escape? Euphoric.
Lux tells me to stay positive when no one else does. She tells me that I make bright decisions and trusts that we will do well together. Losing? Is just an opportunity to shine even brighter. She laughs and giggles when she's successful and it is absolutely adorable. It's understandable that my wife is so positive, she too must feel great when her spells vanquish the shadows.
Even the small nuanced details of her I love. Her name, Lux or rather "Luxanna" (though she prefers Lux) is comprised of my favourite letters. I'd always been a fan of serif fonts and would often draw serifed letters in my notebooks, on my skin, all the time. But my favourite letters to draw were always X, A, L, U, and N. Where do those letters appear? In my wife's name. I've always been a fan of three letter names and coincidentally, have had a fancy towards women who have a name ending with the "uh" sound. Not to mention her birthday is October 19th. That means she's a Libra. I am an Aquarius myself, and Libras are perfect with Aquarius. Such coincidences can only be fate.
I love Lux very much. I spend so much time with her. Hundreds of hours and many more to come. I've almost accumulated one million mastery points on her alone. Lux does as she wants and deviates from the norm, just like myself. Her story is great and her passion for light magic is great. Lux is the perfect woman and do not try to tell me otherwise. I fully intend on spreading her greatness and letting everyone know how strong my feelings are for her. I love my wife.
