Discussion: Why does League seem so overly toxic some days?

I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but it just seems like some days league is just unbearable to play?

For instance, yesterday, I actually enjoyed playing League. Had mostly good games, not many toxic people or flamers. It was a fun time and I enjoyed it. Games were interesting and not just complete stomp fests.

Tonight? That's a whole different story, EVERY game has been literally unplayable. Completely full of toxic people. I don't think there's been a single game today where I didn't have to report someone for toxic behavior. Every game has been a complete stomp fest and just plain not fun.

Does anyone else experience this?

All the time man.

For example i played earlier today, was fine, no toxic people, honors and such.

I played a couple matches tonight, and man was that a fucking mistake. The first match complete loss team comp wise, couldn't even get close enough to fucking auto for crying out loud without getting 3 shotted by fucking lane long snipers.... On top of that had toxic team mates who said to report me because i was building tanky just so i could actually survive. But in their eyes it's "troll".

Then the match after that, oh this is just lovely wait till you hear this shit.

Champ select screen dude says "bye" 1 second before the match starts and leaves, but he didn't leave in time to dodge the damn match. So, 4v5 right off the bat. Our team all agreed on open mid v.v No IP for that one. AND the enemy team was flaming us of course saying how lame and trash we are for not fighting a 4v5 waste of time....

Nights like this make me not want to play this game, when shit out of your control happens like an AFK and people just rub it and insults in your face. That's not competitive, that's just being a douche.

With so many people playing the game and you only see at most a couple dozen in a given day, I think it's just luck of the draw....though I have heard time of day can have some impact. Most say that when school gets out, it gets salty...so I would guess there is extra salt on weekends as well.

I experience this all the time too. Sometimes it's really mello and enjoyable. Other times it's awful beyond words. Flaming teammates. Enemy teams who BM in a stomp fest. You name it. It's why I've started muting everyone when I get in game. It just not worth it.
