I have 26 unused Championship Jewel. Can I convert them to IP instead?

I already have a Tier 3 SSG icon anyway, so I don't see the point of spending my RP on another pointless icon. Instead of just discarding it, I would rather have the extra Championship Jewels to be converted around 100 ~ 500 IP each or something lol

I believe when you upgrade them into their final form there is an option to disenchant them for essence.

You mean like my Tier 3 SSG icon? I don't see any option to turn it into essence.
