Oh, I'm Sorry, I Didn't Know That You Should Stop If You're Bad At Something

I was recently in a normal game, in my other account. I just bought Veigar, and I was helping my friend who was a lower level than my actual account get a hang of things. So I made another account to help him in understanding the game.

After he and I played, I bought Veigar and I alone went into a normal game to see how he worked.

I called mid first, but then some misunderstood little summoner came in and picks Ahri and says that since i called "mi", I didn't actually get the role of mid. When I actually called "mid" the first time, but the second time I called, i didn't quite click the letter "d".

We get into the game, and I am forced out of my lane because of, we are gonna call her, Arrogant Ahri. Nothing new there. The game goes on, and the longer the game goes, the more this Ahri trash talks me.

Then, we get to the post-loss game screen, and he tells me that even if I did call mid first, that he doesn't trust "noobs" in carrying. And he proof that I was a noob was that I was level 17.

He was level 20. HUGE difference.

Then, he friend requests me, and me being my stupid self, accept it, to see what he has to say. Then, as the conversation goes on, He tells me that he "hates noobs like [me]" and that I shouldn't "play anymore". Then, a simple "'plz" at the end, as if to seal the deal.

I'm sorry. I didn't know that if I was bad at something, that i should stop.

This is why I refuse to do normal blind pick anymore. It's a terrible system. Someone being able to type mid faster does not grant you the lane. In draft pick just go with RNGesus and take your pick order, and team builder lets you be who you want where you want at expense of matchmaking que wait times. Avoid blind pick at all costs.

I too find that the best way to improve at something is by not doing it ever again /s

Don't talk to people once they start displaying that attitude. That kind of behavior is very much beneath the minimum level of civility you should be holding people to. If you really feel like you have to say anything to them, do what I do, and say this to them when they're being atomic wads "shaddap" the single word, utmost precision, in and out

If you want Veigar advice, ask me. I've played him a lot and I'm familiar with his kit. Or just read everything you can on him :D

Keep blowing summoners up. Veigar

Yep these things happen, and its an even better feeling when the enemy is the one doing that. my first game as Diana i got crushed by a Yasou who was clearly experienced with the champion. He had no hesitation to trash talk me in the post game lobby. Its the mentality of this community, just got to keep playing though cause like you said you shouldn't stop because your bad at the moment you'll get better eventually.

meh, people are mean on the internet my friend, its just what happens with anonymity. you have to remember that they are just saying this because they don't know you and there is 0 (personal consequence). I don't think its anything to be hurt buy or get a little sad about. just ignore it and move on. I've been at the giving and receiving end of trash talking and I'm certain once you get better at the game you will be trashing some people of your own everyone does it. but for the mean time probably not the best idea to friend someone who wants to flame at you.

Lol at people like this circle jerking for upvotes. I mean, what were you even thinking? "Oh, this guy was a dick in game, I better add him as a friend. I'm sure he will be really nice now! Then, even if he is still a dick, I'm going to keep talking to him so that I can screen shot it and fish for likes on the boards!!"
