So I was thinking about next season and the changes Riot is making to try to force teams to work together (turret gold, wards, etc.) and have a feeling this will only increase trolling due to the fact some players flat out refuse to help. (Sorry for the run on sentence).
As always, the reporting system will crush those trolls.
On a more realistic note, there will always be players who refuse to work as a team (and yes, you will hate them for it), but there is a system to prevent and punish such behavior. Putting more incentives to work as a team will, on the contrary, encourage people to work as a team.
With those new mechanics and the introduction of the team builder, I have a feeling that teamwork will be going up in the following season.
team builder is RIOT's attempt to deal with trolls. and i think with the changes and spreading out the warding and limiting the number of wards per player. RIOT is incentivizing spreading out the vision game. so i can't say i agree with your supposition.
