Is there any reason to buy Aatrox?

everything I found on Aatrox has been "Tryndamere is better." Is there really any reason to buy him? If there really is no reason than can you suggest someone to get? I have a very shifty playstyle and can play any role well.

Aatrox and Trynd isn't a good comparison - very different play styles. Aatrox initiates and disrupts like a boss, whereas Trynd spins in AA's and spins out. If you're looking at top lane champs, I wouldn't get either of them.

Jax is the pimp of top lane and late game split pushes like a demon on crack.

You're wrong, Trynd is harder to farm with early game and his escape (that he needs from his squishiness that aatrox doesn't have) is less reliable. And yes, I recommend him to people that enjoy split pushing, sieging, and AFK Farming. :D

he brings some amazing early damage. The problem with aatrox is that people like to go full ad on him. Usually lategame aatrox is just used as an initiator, so i recommend to build like one. BotRk or Hydra (depending on lane matchup) into full tank works well enough for lategame, as you can actually use the damage w without decimating your hp bar.
