I want to be clear..... if I purchase chests and own all the champions I should not get champion shards in them until riot figures out some sort of use for the champion essences. Otherwise I feel like my money is just wasted with useless content.
To be fair, any money given to riot is for useless content ;) but yeah I'd hold off until they figure it out completely. Even though they've been working on it forever.
Yup. I'm not going to complain tho, cause this is essentially free anyway. I think you can get about 15 permanent items per year with this setup tho, so I'm just going to go with it.
