Tribunal and other issues i feel need adressing

Swain Ok so I've been playing for a little over a year and noticed a few very consistent errors that have not been addressed in the slightest, to my knowledge.

Zac 1. Lack of power in the tribunal. I've done it myself,(time permitting which isn't often) and have permabanned players before. However people simply make a new account. This just shifts the problem from higher level players to lower level new players whom aren't used to the trolling. I feel that it should have an Ip ban time frame. Same system with the one day, etc, however this stops people from trolling, changing accounts, and just continuing to troll.

Vayne 2. Report system. Ok I made a post about this a while ago but i feel it really isn't getting the attention. The big one i think needs a hard look at, is the "unskilled" report. This is one i use often myself, (when i get a Veigar rushing Nashors for example, or consistently screwing up), but what is actually done? I use this since i know its a non bannable offence and just think riot needs to look at matchmaking but what good does this actually do? I think that there should be a sub category for this. Such as "build" or "lack of map awareness". those sorts of things. Make this category clear and have it serve its intended purpose, this will allow players to learn more.

Garen 3. Honor system. This was an awesome idea. The concept strong. The follow up incredibly weak.Players handed out honor quickly early on, but now your lucky to get one in a team of 5s. Make this work. Riot itself said how this system cut down on reports, take that next step and make this worth while. When you accumulate honor make the prize more than a ribbon. Every certain amount enter in for an Ip draw, and make it so you can only give out 9 honors the first game, and you only receive 3 for each subsequent game. Make the IP like 600, nothing major but enough to be noticeable.

Nidalee 4. Crack down on reports. People spam these things. "oh that guy said bg at the end, that's negative attitude" Mean while its been a 4v5 or something. yes there's a reason for having these and they are a core part of culling trolls from the game. But as they are now SO MANY reports that the tribunal has issues keeping up, and often get a match where a player has 5 reports, one in each game, often from a butt hurt player. Let a player know how many reports they send, and the weight of the report. I try to take a breath before i report and ask if its really bannable, or if i'm annoyed at the player. This needs to be the case more often. Put a score on the report screen saying on a 1.0 to 0.001 scale how much its worth and how much that report will deduct it by. this is a similar system in place but it lets people know when they are ACTUALLY reporting, or being butt hurt. Base this on number of players in a match. Ergo your score rises for a match on the rift more than playing with 5 other people on the treeline.

Veigar TL;DR

  1. Buff the tribunal. It needs to lift more bro
  2. report system. dem derps be unskilled. Tell them why. let us tell you why 3.honor. Zuko is not the only person who wants to get it, make use of your systems in place, we dont have Iroh to guide us, so you have to do it.
  3. Report weights. Stop the whiny butt hurts and let them know they are being whiny butt hurts.

  1. Lack of power in the tribunal

To an extent I actually agree, the Tribunal is extremely accurate but the punishments it extends are slower and less effective than I'd like. That being said, it does still work well at curbing all but the most egregious cases.

  1. Report system.

Reporting someone for 'Unskilled Player' to my knowledge does nothing other than making them less likely to be queued with you and/or gives the matchmaking system something to think about when placing them into games. It's really veiled as far as what this particular reporting option does, but I don't think it's possible to ever go to the Tribunal exclusively through Unskilled Player reports.

  1. Honor system.

I could go on about Honor for days. The idea is fantastic but the implementation left a ton to be desired. I don't really think there can be more incentives added to the system until it's both more accurate and correctly rewards the right usage patterns.

  1. Crack down on reports.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this. Reports without merit rarely (if ever) result in any sort of punishment at all. There will always be occasional false positives for toxicity, but for the most part this is likely not much of an issue.
