At First I Thought It Was Just A Superstition, but Now I'm Starting To Believe It's True...

When people said, "I always get trolls/noobs/toxic players/afks in my promos," I would just roll my eyes after I rolled in some grass and laugh at them, but now I'm starting to believe it's true. This morning I played a couple games to get into my promos, and everyone was very nice and supportive, helping each other out, and I won every game leading to my promos. Then I got into my promos, two games in a row everyone was toxic, the second game to the point where I was so tilted I needed to take a break (They were taking things to a personal level flaming each other, it was the worst case of toxicity I've seen in a while). So just now after I came back from a little post-Christmas shopping, I decided to try again. Same case, my team is super supportive and kind. And now I'm actually starting to wonder if it's intentional or just coincidence that players are having trouble in their promos.

It's just a coincidence man, you get toxic people when it's not your promos too. You just notice it more when you have something huge on the line. Most people just want to blame it on the toxicity as to why they aren't ranking up. Sure sometimes that's the case, but not all the time. It's the same with non-promo games.
