Trials for Hextech Crafting

So I recently got a new skin from a chest (justicar Aatrox), and I really wanna unlock that skin, but I don't have enough essence. I have grim reaper Karthus on trial right now, and I'm wondering if I am able to disenchant it once the trial ends, or does it go away permanently?
