What is up with MF support?

so basically our support locked in mf in a plat 2 ranked game, which we all thought was the most trolll thing to do, i couldn't dodge because i had already dodged the previous game due to a "mid or feed" , which unfortunately, he did not get mid, so he was gonna "run it down mid" in his words. literally this mf was the most useless support i had ever had in my life, she went ap, which apparently one of her abilities scales of ap, but she did no dmge the whole game, mutherfuker was squishy af and died non stop. i then got an mf support the next game, same shit happens, and finally the third game, i got an ashe support, like wtf, this nigguh literally died as soon as she walked into lane, it was that real. very quickly i got demoted. in one champ select some autist said ban mf, mf support is op, like are you for real? was that some kind of bad joke? apparently this craze for mf support was because some douche played him lcs and did alright, you kidding me? of course he gonna do "alright" all those lcs players just afk farm for the first 30 mins, so they cant feed.

god, the autism is real in solo q atm

you are clearly uneducated on why MF support was picked in worlds. MF support is a strong pocket pick vs zyra and requires an ADC with CC like an ashe. in both worlds games MF support was picked vs zyra support and the MF was with an ashe ADC. MF support can abuse zyra in lane due to her plants and the Q being used against her. the MF support you was with shouldnt have build AP. she should have gone black cleaver last whisper. also yes MF has 1 or 2 abilities that scale with AP

MF support was played at Worlds as a niche counter to Zyra, and now the people who have to mimic the pros are playing it with no clue why it actually worked.
