Queue times much longer

My average q time before was around a minuet, then between bans and champ select the games took roughly 5 minuets to start. Now with this new queue (for which I always select fill) takes about 3 and a half minuets, on average i get at least 2 dodges, and between champ bans and select games take around 9 minuets to start. I am not sure how this is an improvement. Anyone else experiencing overall longer game start times?
