Does Riot respond to anything other than Skin and Bug Threads?

Been playing since season 1, and used to go to the forums all the time, or whatever the fuck these new boards are. Back in the day Riot used to respond to threads. Now I never see Riot respond to these threads, and if they do its weeks/months later. Honestly, the only thing that has amazed me the most is when they banned people for elo boosting, but then released dynamic queue. I don't understand Riot's goal anymore with this game. Is it to make new champs more and more mobile with shit loads of damage so they can build tank?

That being said looking for a new game to play like league, but with much less toxic trolls, and game devs who actually talk to the forums. Anyone played DOTA? Is that as dumb as this game is getting? Do they have more open discussions about issues with the game?

They do, more often than one may think.

Using the search engine (and judging by the number of "Thresh relic shield" bug 'reports', not enough people know about this) is a really handy way of finding them.

Though, to be fair, there's a difference between a discussion and a "discussion." Some Rioters may not respond to threads where it's clear that people are just venting and not really open to an actual discussion.

I really don't know...the company seems to grow more and more divided with one team either blocked off or held to complete secrecy by another. It's good that they reach a consensus in Ask Riot every once in a while, but most ndividual Rioters seem clueless or unnecessarily anxious about other or even their own decisions.
