All the problems with LoL that Riot pretends aren't fixable

Actually are.

HotS has done/is doing them.

Balanced stealth. More or less solved AFK issues (could still be better but it's in a great direction.) Less toxicity because of the way their entire KDA/power-shifting system works.

So, what's wrong with Riot's balance team? Seriously. Another game not unlike theirs has shown them how these "unbalanceable" systems can be balanced, yet they still pretend it's not conceivable. I envision children plugging their fingers in their ears, and shouting to themselves.

Welcome to the world of "free to play," where developers couldn't care less about the quality of their game so long as you throw money at them by the fistful -- and they will do the BARE MINIMUM to get you to do that. Don't act so surprised.

The thing is that if they copy them then people would just claim that there is zero originality because all they will do is copy others, that or some type of copyright infringement might be holding them back.

Not having played HotS I don't know, but I have heard that the warding completely different. It may be possible to balance stealth under their system but not under League's. At least, not without a shit ton of focussed work.

I haven't even heard anything about the AFK and power sharing differences - not many of my friends play games... - so I can't really comment on those. But stealth. Stealth I have heard of.
