So I was just doing my project in the school Library.

I was doing this essay when this Korean looking kid came up behind me. He asked me if I played League, because he noticed the bracelet I wore that said "I HATE TEEMO". I replied with a short "yeah", and continued typing my essay. He asked me what my rank was. I told him that I was Platinum Three. I turned around to talk to him and the first thing I saw was his squinty-ass eyes and a mouth wide open. He was gawking at me. He then got on his knees, and then begged me to tell him how I got so high in the ladder. I told him I wasn't any good at this game, and all you needed to do was spam cancer in ranked. He didn't believe me, however. After rejecting my comment, he asked if we could talk later on League, and gave me his summoner name.

That night, I accepted his invite and all hell broke loose from there. He bombarded me with questions left and right. "How do you get better at CS?". "How do you carry such baddies?". I told him that he just needs common sense to play this game. The kid stopped asking me questions for a minute or so, but then I was invited to a custom game lobby. He and his four friends were waiting for me. They all asked questions. They asked me to coach them, and elo boost them. I told them that I couldn't elo boost them, as that's against the rules. I did, however, agree to coaching them, as long as they paid me.

The next day, on League, I went through the basics. I had them all send me videos of their games, and then went through what they did wrong and what they can improve on. From then on, they started to improve. All were Bronze 5, and they were then Bronze 2 or 3 within a week. I coached them more often, forgetting my studies. Soon enough one of them hit silver, and he was ecstatic. The friends were extremely jealous, and I was laughing at how they fought over Skype calls.

Then it all went downhill.

I started to see the kid less and less after school. I thought he had quit school for League. I felt rather terrible. Within a week, I hadn't seen him on League. I thought to myself "Could we have died while walking to Best Buy to buy some RP?" I knew it was all my fault. All my fault for him getting better at league. I told him Skins to win. I didn't know that I would be at fault for his life being taken away.

After being alone in my gloom-room for several hours every day after school, I decided that it wouldn't be too bad to get back on League. I checked my friends list, and he and his friends were not there. I played a ranked game and loss. I knew from that point I was going on tilt, butt I just couldn't stop playing League for whatever reason. After demoting two divisions, I received a whisper.

It was the kid.

He was on level 5 smurf account. I was overwhelmed with joy. I thought he died, I thought I'd never talk to him again. He told me he had move to Korea, and his friends had been living there. I questioned why his friends lived in Korea but played on the NA server, but I felt that he wouldn't know more than me.

I signed up for the Korean server that day. I couldn't wait to play with him again and see how he was doing. I got in a Skype call, and he linked his OP.gg and I couldn't believe my eyes.

He was Challenger, and his friends were Challenger and Diamond 1.

Before looking anything into it, I asked him how. He told me "Remember the first thing you said to me?" I didn't remember. He then said "Spam cancer". I checked his match history, and it was absolutely disgusting. He played Riven, Orianna, and assassins. I just mouthed "wow" while scrolling down and seeing all those won games.

He told me that he and his friends were contracted and were going to be sponsored. I died a little on the inside, because the teacher became the student. There was a large mixture of joy and envy in my head. I couldn't express any feelings to him. It was late that night. He said that I'd be seeing him soon, but didn't know what that meant.

Later that year, he was on twitch.tv, holding the LoL championship trophy.

And that's how I coached Samsung Galaxy White to winning the Season 4 championships.
