@RIot Is the Lore Team running out of ways to integrate new lore into old?

First off, skin team: awesome. Events team: great. New champ team: Fantastic. Balance team: actually really good considering s6 pressure. But the lore team seems lacking compared to others. The last five or so champions have been great (although Illoai needs tweaks on that heal :P), but their lore just doesnt seem to fit in. Bard, the Wandering Caretaker from another dimension. Ekko, the boy who can turn back time, but really doesn't fit in with other lores. Same with Tahm. It was confirmed (I think) that the gambler wasn't Twisted Fate, so really he doesnt fit either. Neither does Kindred or Illoai. They are just a spirit and a women who holds a spirit.

Is the lore team running out of space to fit in lore? Nothing seems to fit with the big scheme of things, which is probably why Riot cant make one big story line like everyone wants. There are too many outliers. Is it even possible to fit things into the already existing lore with people nit picking every detail to make sure it all makes sense and is logical?
