If you're running away, stop trying to save someone who's about to die by attacking the enemy.

It's better to let 1 person die than having the whole team die. I've gone from Bronze to Diamond and I swear that's the biggest problem I've seen in bronze/silver/gold

See, thing about bronze is, down here they will blame you for not trying to save them and go AFK as a result.

And I don't ever feel like fighting a 4v5.

When I support:

Two teammates and I are ambushed by four enemies after taking an objective. Being Annie at the time, not my main support, I charge up my passive and do a QUADRA-stun! My teammates, with high mobility and damage champions, take that opportunity to make the best play ever. They high-tail it through our jungle and type "sorry" as I get cc'd and 100-0 for my efforts.

This is why I jungle.

I hate to watch a fellow champ die. So I will often times die with them. I know I shouldn't, it is a reflex that I am working on, as support. Sometimes you just have to recognize a bad investment and cut your losses. You just always think, there is that chance I could play this perfect and save them and get them the kill as well.

As hard as I try to sacrifice myself for the team as tank or support, someone always has to follow me despite having pinged retreat thousands of times.

I think it's situational, I was playing rammus and the ADC Graves was almost dead being chased by Zed, both of us were really low health. I decided to powerball and turn around into Zed, and Graves got the kill

"Never leave a man behind"

This does not apply in solo queue.

The good stay bronze, thus is the circle of life.

As support there are times that bot lane does not do well. If, there is someone on our team that is really fed i will try my best to

1: get both of us out of there safely

2: get my teammate out and I stall to my death

As a friend of mine always says when he does something clearly stupid.

"I outplayed myself."

Be Maokai, dive into the fray with my hyper tankiness to buy time for team to retreat Zed follows me in GOD DAMNIT

But if you feed with them, they won't report you later on for "letting them die".

That's bad advice. I mean it really depends on the elo you are in, if you are in low elo ya run but if your in higher elo and know the people you are playing with aren't retards and will turn on that guy and help you kill him then do it.

The biggest thing I noticed in low elo is people who are gonna die anyways don't turn around and do damage and get the enemy low so your team mates can clean up- Most the time people who have no chance of getting away keep running and do no damage to someone and it's pointless because if you know your dead anyways u might as well at least lower their health for your team.
