Complaining, excuses, whining etc etc.. will not help you improve in this game.
What i absolutley hate the most is the crying for not picking meta champions. Even in normals ffs. Who i pick is who I PICK.
I stop hearing the crying when i start carrying their asses.

In my experience, this has been done by people who are just compensating for thier own mistakes. Ignore it, like they teach you to do in kindergarden, and concentrate on your own play.

I think the better point is: Why don't you want to ping MIA? Information is a good thing to share with your team.

Don't give up until your nexus is exploding. Surrender only means you have to win two more games to make up for the loss. Also, don't be too hard on people, everyone has off games, that doesn't mean they are actively sabotaging you and the world is out to get you. That is just a narcissistic delusion.
I generally don't play ranked because the stress just isn't worth the reward, and that reward is pretty damn useless down here in Bronze. I have less fun in ranked than I do in norms. I'm also tired of being judged for my rank, so I just really don't bother anymore.
Bronze players leak out and get into silver/gold

Also I think for me the biggest reason I might not play ranked is not having the time. If I don't play ranked I'm in a bots game and it's bc I need to be done at a specific time. That is something I can't guarantee in ranked.
Also I know some people have had the opposite experience w/ ranked given the punishments/restrictions. People who are rude can get temp banned from ranked and have to improve in normals so some people see more troll behaviors and rage in normals. Wondering what your thought is on this since I can't really confirm or deny it.
My reasons sum up most of what everyone says.
People in ranked are so stressed and at the brink of meltdowns on a lot of the occasions that the smallest thing will set them off, lack of pings, wards, meta picks, first bloods, deaths etc etc.
I don't play ranked because not only do I not like dealing with that, I don't like ending up this way.
the single reason I don't play ranked is because I might get something like b5 and then my friends will make fun of me even though I'm pretty sure I could get gold/plat also too much stress
Same as those who claim being poor can be just happy as rich and not having a girl friend isn't bad.
You will be surprised, I've seen fewer douchebags in ranked than in normal.

I only play with friends and refuse to duo que ranked with them (for reasons). So we only play norms or 5 man ranked. Thats my reason.
Edit: I only played ranked last season to get morg skin. It was end of season. It only took a week and just sat in G5 for my rewards. Depending on the skin this season will determine if i will try and rank again. I dont really care about rank and just play for fun.
1: My internet occasionally decides "nope not right now, bug me later". 2: I despise the promotional system (3 and 5 game gates). 3: I'm apparently very inconsistent, sometimes I crush games and others I randomly have no concept of how to kill minions. 4: Champion Select is frustrating like 95% of the time; even with good teammates there's that constant worry of getting jerks or people that can't connect.
Because I don't really get anything for getting past Gold.
Draft pick is stressful with people you don't know.
I find these to be true like, 10% of the time.
