When you started playing League.

I'm curious about how the summoner's code affected your decision to continue playing League of Legends and whether or not it communicated to you what kind of a company was designing the game. If you would be so kind as to share your thoughts about it.

For myself it heavily influenced my decision to play and support this game. I'd been in games before where they became money pits and exploited their clientele. So I tend to look for games that have reasonable pricing and have inclusion as their principle that allow fun for all, not just the paying customers. Fairness is a factor for me. I suppose that I previously got a bit angry at companies that do/did this and decided internally that I'd rather put my money or promote companies that I'd like to see succeed in the world.

Everyone <i> that plays the game has been exposed to the summoners code and I just wondered how it weighed in with you after you were exposed to it.

If you get this far, thank you for participating and sharing!</i>

Well, I was tempted to say no because the game itself was just so fun to play, and it still is especially with all my friends who play, but the longer and longer I have been here, Riot has showed me that they are a company worth investing in. I don't think any other game has earned as much money from me due to how both the company portrays itself and how good of a game they make.

Now, Riot has made some mistakes here and there, but in the long run I feel like they have done a fantastic job at making a game worth playing for years, and they continue to strive to be the best, not only in game play, but community relations as well. Although... 1000RP where!?!!?? ;p

The sad part is, if you would have posted this thread on GD, you would get so many people hating on Riot and people who post things similar to me.
