Like, for instance. If someone admitted to being a smurf in-game, could you report them and get that profile banned?

I just feel like it is so cancerous to play against at low elo.

Smurfing is allowed. Intentionally losing matches to stay at a lower MMR isn't allowed.

Smurfing is allowed, just not encouraged. Considering you can make endless accounts for free with no effort, its a difficult thing to stop.

Generally Riot doesn't support them, but it's allowed and not at all reportable.

There are reasons to make smurfs that you may not understand, sometimes it might be unfun to play against but just remember, they're everywhere right now due to match quality being so terrible in high elo right now.

They'll be on your team as much as they're on the enemy team.

I honestly hate smurfs, even if they're on my team.

I don't want to get carried out of low elo by someone who plays at a diamond level. I want to learn and improve myself game-by-game.

I enjoy a hard fought close game, not one team completely dominating the other. That just takes all the fun out of the game to me.

Well, sorry but the match quality combined with queue times and poor matchmaking at high diamond-master just leaves a lot of us to smurf to even be able to play some decent matches or have fun.

It's something you'll have to get used to for a while.

Then why not just play norms? Smurfs ruin the ranked experience
