Ten months ago, I started the season by posting a quick GLHF to everyone, and I just wanted to end this season by giving it a GGWP. I hope that everyone was able to accomplish their ranked goals for this season, but even if you didn't, I think we can agree that it's been one hell of a season.

2016 has been the year of:

The mid-year mage update that gave us our 20th iteration of Ryze, permabanned Malzahar, and dragged Brand and Zyra back into the AP carry role in the bot lane (oh, and the RNG Elemental Dragons)
The Marksman update (technically pre-season, but what can ya do)
Mastery updates, leading literally everyone using Thunderlords into Warlords into Grasp of the Undying before reaching a good spot
New Champion Select? Dynamic Queue? Ranked Teams are gone? THEY'RE BACK?
Hextech Crafting? I HAVE TO SPEND MONEY TO LEVEL UP MASTERY?

I was hoping I could make gold this season, but I guess I'll settle for Bronze V -> Silver III Honourable mention to Poppy for carrying me all the way there!

You there, yes, you Johnny boy. What gives you the right to judge someone for their rank? That Silver III player is probably better than me in a lane / position than I am despite being Platinum 5. My rank doesn't mean i'm better than that person, just I was good enough in my particular playstyle / role to get high up. People like you are the reason why League can be toxic, and I don't want people like you ruining the chance for new people to enjoy League / ranked. Go in your corner now and think about what you did.

Am I the only one who thinks this season is a net growth of 0? Riot did a lot of work this season but it doesn't feel that way.

We got Ranked split into 2 queues to guarantee s7 queues will be longer for everyone.

Anyone not from NA/EUW/Brazil are losing Normal Draft and being told to play ranked "flex mode" (No seriously, Ghost Crawler just said this in a reddit thread).

We lost an entire queue and an entire game mode (dominion and team builder).

Did we gain some neat stuff? Sure, but we lost and are losing just as much in return. It is like being in a boxing match and knowing you landed a good right hook, but you had to take a painful shot in the gut to do it, and in the end, was it really worth it?

I think the main issue was them not thinking there was an issue, particularly with ranked queue.

And then you realize all but 3 regions are losing normal draft completely (until mid season when likely the other 3 will as well).

GG WP everyone. You know, playing through the season might have been abysmal. But, look at the growth Riot has made and the game itself. Riot went through a tough spot with their community, but now I believe they have found that good middle ground. They have given us so many of the things we have asked for in such a small amount of time. Lets let the end of Season 6 mark a new era in League. We made it through guys! NOW LETS HAVE FUN IN SEASON 7!

Hard to want to pat them on the back when they are handing you stuff with one hand and slapping you in the head with the other.

Give the plants a chance, I personally enjoy them (PBE Account). The Draft pick thing though... no argument bad idea but we will see what comes of it.

I play a lot on the pbe (more than on live the past month) and I personally hate the plants. I have been almost exclusively jungling, and I am not a fan. Though I think that one isn't as objective, as you either like it or don't.

That might be the difference, I don't jungle so to me their just like OH HEY A PLANT. More than wow... these plants are everywhere and hugely lackluster. I played a lot of mid and adc on it, the plants hardly affect adc and midlane is ehh

...Let us not forget how they also let a major yasuo bug go untouched for about a week, The fact warlords has and still kinda is broken as hell, and how they seem to not be mentioning annie in the assassin updates for getting some counter play updates...

Edit: also please tell me they're not dumb enough to be bringing the servers down at 3pm rather than 3 am...cause it seems like that's what they meant...
