I saw someone with a bronze border. My first thought was "It's okay! He has a border! He will carry us!".

My next thought:

"WHY DID HE QUIT THE GAME AFTER GIVING UP FIRST BLOOD MID LANE "

There are no "bronze borders". In season 3 there used to be a bronze Profile border that surrounded the icon but in loading screens there would not be any borders for bronze.
