Love the game, hate the community.

Is it just me or is it getting worse? Not only can I not convince friends to play this game with me due to the festering toxic nonsense that happens in 70% of the matches I've been in, but it seems every single game at least one kid will decide to rip into someone else verbally for whatever reason and god help you if you use the chat for anything but the endgame "gg"... or you'll get ganged up on by every salty child, wannabe troll or smug jerk in the game.... which is usually about 5 of the 10 people playing.

The level of rude, immature and obnoxious behavior in the game is going to be the doom of it. I already find myself not wanting to sit down and play because I know I'm just going to have to deal with other people raging, ranting or acting like middle-school bullies to each other every game. Has it always been this bad? It seems to me like it's gotten much, MUCH worse over the last few months.

Or you could just be having a bad day. Sometimes irritable feelings aren't noticeable throughout the day until you try to relax or vent through an activity such as gaming. The community isn't good but generally speaking, if you react in a positive and polite manner to someone who is rude, they will likely at least feel bad. Even if they don't show it. To me, this is probably the best way to combat rude or obnoxious people.

Worse no. Better no. It's the same as it has been. Luck has something to do with it. Also when u play. Since I am on the west coast I don't do ranked from 5 to 8 ish. Pm. Also it's spring break for the next month. Kids are going to be out of school.

From what I know it's always been a toxic community. I actually left because of it about a month ago. Just recently started playing again. Today, played a /BEGINNER/ bot game as I usually do to learn new champions or get better at the game and was matched with a group of 4 who I think knew eachother and the entire game was being bullied by all 4. "Fuck you Rawr." " We carried your lazy ass" etc. It's sad because it ruins my game and makes me want to leave it once again. I join to have fun and you'd think people playing a beginner game would all be there to learn or something ( these guys had like 30 kills and I had about 5 or 6) but in reality they probably joined to show off and bully other players.

Just learn to accept the toxicity as part of the game, that's what i have to do.
