Need some help from the community plz

I'm trying to find a story i had read some years ago...its about a boy who made a friend on the xbox, playing something like battlefield or something. His friend wasn't very good, but they had this amazing game and afterwards his friend didn't log back in. Months later he found out that his friend had died in a car accident. His friend's brother logged in one last time and was clearing stuff out but mentioned to the boy that he was the only one that the friend ever considered a friend.
