Hey everyone. It's me again! I still haven't played a game ,but I need to know something. How far can I get without damaging my health. Okay so basically whenever I play a game I try to trigger mania ,so my skill level increases. I know its dangerous ,so I quit doing that ,but what emotional high is consider normal for league of legends? I can my mood up ,so high where I feel like I can do anything. Is that normal? Is league really this good as a output? Note: Suffering severe anxiety.

Start working out or some type of exercising.

Just started doing that.

All it can do it pass time. If you truly want to be happy do something that will help improve yourself. Be productive.

Can I do both? Goal: Gold 5 level.

Do you listen to music when you play? Maybe change your playlist to something with a positive message or even no lyrics. I personally like soundtracks, especially the parts associated with combat and high action scenes since they fit with the intensity of team fighting.

Yes I listen to music. I listen to hardcore fast gaming music. I may try switching it ,so I can play league of legends at a happy medium.

Can't really offer sound advice on that. You're the only one who can control your emotions. The only thing I can think of is try playing Standard games if you're getting frustrated. Ranked is generally a more competitive atmosphere so if someone's feeding in Standard it's not nearly as detrimental as if they are ruining your elo (and giving you somewhat good reason to be upset).

I have 1200+ normal wins. I want to switch to ranking season 6.

I'm also having severe anxiety because I am afraid my account will be banned because I made post in the past that would useless ,and riot gave me a warning message and has never go away :(

Summary:

I basically want to know if I can still play league of legends ,and improve rapidly with maintaining great health ,and social life at Gold 5 level. Current age 16. Have a great night.

I know what may help. I don't suffer bipolar disorder, but personally, when I play, I avoid the fast gaming music, edm, or any "pump me up" music.

I actually find listening to calming, soothing things most helpful. Try listening to this. It's super calming.

Why? Let's face it: League is stressful. Dying is not fun. Losing isn't fun. But when I listen to that kind of music, even dying still seems fine. It calms me. It makes everything feel like it's going to turn out fine.

Fast music is awesome. I love it. However, while it excites me when I win, if I lose, it often makes me even more upset and makes me hold on to a "grudge" to crush them next time.

On the flip side, if you find some calming, quiet, soothing soundtrack, you'll FEEL better throughout the game, even in defeat. I promise.

I played tennis competitively and coached a high school swim team. The biggest advice I gave to athletes wasn't "do your best." The best advice I gave was, "be relaxed." Being super tense causes errors. Being fluid and relaxed really opens you up to all kinds of great play.
